Is it a bird? Is it a Crane?

Last week, pupils from Birch group successfully won first place in one of the categories at the STEAM Crane Challenge event organised by the Lincolnshire Institute of Technology.  The chosen name for our crane is the ‘The Crane Bird Company’ with the tagline ‘Is it a bird? Is it a crane?’ 

Our chief operator completed the challenge of picking up the blocks (from set points) and stacking them into a pyramid (with only one chance to complete it) in an amazing 1minute 18 seconds, which was second quickest overall time at the whole event, competing against some very snazzy cranes!
