Home News & Events A Spooky Time
We had a fun time yesterday for Halloween! Some of our staff and students dressed up and came trick or treating to reception.
Bridgeview celebrated Halloween. We all chose our Halloween costumes. We knocked on Woodland View door and Highfield View door. We waited to be welcomed and spoke about not entering the homes of strangers. We practiced signing “trick or treat”. We then carved pumpkins and had a creepy Halloween buffet. After our buffet we did party games.
Some children went to pick their own pumpkins.
In School , the groups had a time slot to follow a map with different stations and numbers that would lead them to a station where they could collect a Pumpkin ticket and then the children were able to choose their own Pumpkin and take it back to decorate or carve.
The sports hall was set up with some different games Halloween style including…
Naughts and crosses
Snakes and ladders
Egg and spoon race
Throw the ring on the witches hat
Throw the bean bags in the cauldron
Big thank you to a lady at Reffs cafe in Winterton that donated 7 boxes of Halloween decorations and Thornton Abbey maze and Booth Farm shop for donating all the pumpkins 🙂🙂
