Toni Woods – Executive Headteacher
I am delighted to offer a warm welcome to Options Barton School – a truly inclusive school where every child and young person feels safe, valued and empowered to succeed. We are proud to be a place where children not only gain the skills they need for the next steps in their education and life, but also to grow in confidence, character, and curiosity.
Options Barton School is a happy, caring, respectful and welcoming environment, in which staff utilise their expert skills and knowledge. It is a privilege to work with the children and young people and the whole staff team, who are dedicated to improving the lives of our children and young people and their families, through outstanding education. At Options Barton, we believe that every child and young person has unique talents and potential. Our mission is to provide the opportunities and support for every learner to be the very best that they can be.
The curriculum is at the heart of what we do. It’s engaging, creative, and varied – brought to life through exciting theme days and weeks, enriching experiences and inspiring visitors. These experiences create lasting memories and spark a genuine love of learning in our pupils.
We aim to make learning fun, purposeful, and appropriately challenging. We know that the journey is just as important as the destination, and we take great pride in every step of our progress together.
I hope that our website gives you a snapshot of Options Barton School and what we offer here. We encourage families and professionals to visit and look forward to giving you a warm welcome to our school so that you can see for yourself the difference that we make in the lives of the children and young people that we educate.
